Prompt Generator

This prompt generator has now been superceded see Here.

Welcome to the multi-fandom, multi-prompt generator. The aim is to allow you to generate characters, pairings and prompts from a number of fandoms and prompt lists and in a number of formats.

There is no wrong way to use this prompt tool! The aim is to inspire, not to force you to write things you do not want to! Among other things this means pairings can be interpreted however you like, as romance, or friendship or just a chance encounter (doubly so since there are underage characters in some of the prompt lists).

There are three steps:

Select the type of prompt you want, single prompt, X meets Y at Z or a bingo card.
Select whether you want a character or pairing included in your prompt and, if so, which list of characters they should be drawn from.
Select which lists of prompts you want to use.

I can easily add new character or prompt lists to this tool. Contact me via DreamWidth (annariel) or LiveJournal (lsellersfic). Other modifictions might take more time but if you want something let me know and I'll see what I can do!

Step 1: Prompt Type Selection

At the moment there are three prompt styles: "X meets Y at place Z", a single prompt or a bingo card prompt.

Step 2: Character Selection

Some of these character lists have been generated, on request, for fandoms I know very little about. If you notice that characters are missing then please contact me to let me know. Alternatively you can use you own character lists. Select "Enter Own List" and then just put each name on it's own line in the text box!
