6. Prestige Exceptions

6.1. No Prestige
There are certain people out there, like the more anarchic Brujah, who
are considered beyond the pail by the Toreador. Their level of
behaviour is simply too disruptive and spoils everyone's enjoyment, even if
it doesn't actually damage valuable works of art. These people are
regarded as having no prestige.Occasionally ( Jason McVae springs to mind) a Toreador may drop to this level. Though it is an unusual event. In this case:
Their opinion is of no weight in prestige challenges.
It is considered a favour to them, by the host, if they are invited to
a Toreador ball.
They have a prestige handicap in creating NPCs and must take a point
out of one area.
6.2. Toreador Prestige for Non-Clan Members
Certain important individuals in the city outside the clan are
considered to have Toreador
prestige. They tend not to play the
Toreador prestige games, although they may be affronted by disrespect
for status (deliberately exclude only one primogen at your peril).
However, they can be used to "up" (or "down") the prestige of your
party and their opinions may carry weight in a prestige challenge.
They have fairly static prestige which will generally be:
GOOD PRESTIGE- The Prince
- Tremere and Ventrue Primogen
AVERAGE PRESTIGE - Gangrel, Brujah, Nosferatu and Malkavian Primogen
- Harpy
- Respected Tremere and Ventrue
- Harpy
-
LOW PRESTIGE - Sheriff, Keeper of Elysium
- Respected Gangrel, Brujah, Nosferatu and Malkavians
- Ordinary Tremere and Ventrue
