Sintel

Sintel is the major merchant town in the North of Ithron. For many years it was effectively cut of from most of Ithron by the Great Barrier. However in the year 997 a land route through the great barrier was opened connecting Sintel's ports to the interior of Ithron. From this point on Sintel rose rapidly in importance. Following an invasion of Lirronese which preceded the opening of the great barrier Sintel create a militia to protect the town and for some years the militia also formed an adventuring unit.
