Norholme

The Duchy of Norholme, created in the year M by the king when he created many new Duchies to reduce the power of individual Dukes, extends from the River Holme (Humber OOC) the the boarder with Berwickshire in the North and Eborshire in the East. The Duchy belongs to Duke Edward Stone who resides in the capital, Kingstown (OOC Hull). Kingstown was named Dull until the Axirian "Maneuvers" In M the then Earl Stone stood up the the aggressors and was awarded the city and duchy as a reward by the King. The Name was changed to Kingstown and an official Royal residence created (It is from here that the head of the royal Guard operates when not on Duty with the King).
